Pretty In Pink
I worked on this for several years, starting in 2017 or so. It always seemed pale and a bit washed out. Then Sara suggested a contrasting border. The pink border added 2021 really pops and makes the whole painting work. As usual, the little things really count.

Young Man with Guitar
60″ x 31″ Mixed Media. When I started working at Fender I knew I needed to present myself as an artist. I was surrounded by musicians – some of them quite brilliant musicians. This painting was inspired by Picaso’s Old Man with Guitar. I painted it on an old closet door and it was a bit…

Man in the Mirror
49″ x 37″ Mixed Media. A scaled up version of The Fourth Troubador with mirrors. This piece really pops in an entry way or at the end of the hall to fully take advantage of the mirrors.

Green Fish Orange Sea
36″ x 48″. Acrylic on wood. I first conceived of this during a business meeting (I know…). I drew elephants and they looked like fish scales. The fish was a natural. Really pops due to the color contrast green fish and orange/yellow background. I owed a friend a favor and he chose this one. Sorry to see it go!
