Pretty In Pink
I worked on this for several years, starting in 2017 or so. It always seemed pale and a bit washed out. Then Sara suggested a contrasting border. The pink border added 2021 really pops and makes the whole painting work. As usual, the little things really count.

Looking at the Bottle
36″ x 49″ mixed media. Quick study prompted by a gallery visit in La Jolla (after Byron). Strong painting with very few, bold colors on strong relief.
